Product Manager

Bengaluru

Role and responsibilities

Create, Launch products on a regular basis. Identify market opportunities, reimagine and define
product vision and strategy. Be aware of and create business models, go-to market strategy as part of the product design.
Understand customer needs, gather requirements, listen to ideas and synthesize. Develop new products and enhance existing products.
Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical specification as well as a reasonable implementation schedule.

Desired skill set

BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent.
4 years of related work experience.
Experience with product management or product design with a focus on digital.
Experience developing Internet products and technologies.

Strong CS fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and systems programming. A passion for coding, creating complex systems from scratch and designing for scale. Passion for contributing to and leveraging Open Source for rapid innovation and community development. The ability to solve challenging real-world problems.
Knowledge of innards of large scale distributed systems like No-SQL DBs, graph DBs, hadoop/mapreduce. Comfortable with system coding using Java, Rust, or C+t. Knowledge of machine learning for classification, pattern matching, non-linear optimization. Desire to build user facing systems for quasi-literate and undereducated.

2 years of key contribution to building systems or sophisticated products.

Implement end to end applications to unlock opportunities for people.
Design scalable solutions, which involves the following:
● Clean, Modular Workflows: Create clear and well-defined workflows that are logically separated into reusable modules or components enhancing code maintainability, testability, and scalability.
● Database and Schema Design: Design efficient and scalable database structures, including tables, relationships, and constraints, to effectively store and manage data. This involves selecting appropriate data types, indexing strategies, and normalization techniques to optimize data integrity, query performance, and storage efficiency.
● Write Optimal Expressions: Craft efficient and well-optimized expressions.. This includes considering factors such as execution time, resource utilization, and algorithmic complexity to ensure optimal performance and scalability of the solution.
Conduct functional testing (both manual and automated testing)
Collaborate with Eng team for solution requirements
End to end implementation of the application
Deployment of the application
Post-production support
Track/Measure milestones

Minimum Qualification

Experience in building applications
Familiarity with databases, table design, schemas
Familiarity with JAVA and Javascript
